Shades of Pornography

Shades of Pornography is a self-paced online program\u00a0designed to educate teachers to deliver content\u00a0around understanding pornography and its effects on\u00a0young people in\u00a0years 7 \u2013 10.<\/p>\n\n

The program explores pornography as an industry and enables students to recognise pornography as fiction. Students who participate in this program will gain knowledge of the history of pornography, understand ways in which the media uses sexualised imagery, and the difference between pornography and real life relationships.\u00a0Shades of pornography also looks at the addictive nature of modern pornography. The program\u00a0uses activities, videos, scenarios and group work tools to engage students and assist\u00a0them in grasping key messages.<\/p>\n\n
